This is a special silencer which reduces noise by an additional 11db bringing the decibel level down from 76db to 64db, especially important for observation flights, since lower noise reduces the probability of being sighted.
Instead of using a normal GPS system, we integrate it into the glass cockpit. This offers a huge display for effective work and allows you to reach your destination even in bad weather conditions. In addition to this, all our GPS systems are equipped with a Terrain Warning System to reduce the risk of collision with mountains or other natural barriers. As an option we also offer 3D maps within the GPS system to ensure the highest possible security and precision required within your operations.
Operating open gyroplanes in high altitudes, the cold or in freezing temperatures in winter is not easy or comfortable for the pilot or the observer. It is dangerous and working in cold conditions provokes errors, which can be lethal, a risk that must be reduced. We provide the crew with overalls that are heated through the on-board 7G.Copter network, a very effective system that allows year round operation of a 7G.Copter.
Summer heat is a problem, when it too hot, the concentration drops. We equip our open 7G.Copters with a cooling vest and in our closed 7G.Copters we provide air conditioning to reduce the core temperature and combat heat related fatigue and Exertional Heat Illness (EHI).
The 7 Group is the only company worldwide to equip their gyroplanes with that kind of equipment.
Security is important when flying. Gyroplanes are amongst the most secure aircrafts however, The 7 Group goes one step further in increasing security. A transponder is an electronic device that produces a response when it receives a radio-frequency interrogation. In aviation, aircraft have transponders to assist in identifying them on radar and on other aircraft’s collision avoidance systems. A TCAS is an aircraft collision avoidance system designed to reduce the incidence of mid-air collisions between aircrafts. It monitors the airspace around an aircraft for other aircraft equipped with a corresponding active transponder, independent of air traffic control (ATC), and warns pilots of the presence of other transponder-equipped aircraft which may present a threat of a mid-air collision (MAC).
The TCAS is a type of airborne collision avoidance system mandated by the International Civil Aviation Organization to be fitted to all aircraft with a maximum take-off mass (MTOM) of over 5700 kg / 12.586 lbs or authorized to carry more than 19 passengers. Both systems are normally used only in helicopters or fixed wing aircrafts but not in aircrafts of this size or this price class.
At The 7 Group, we push the limits, and always take things a step further, so we have equipped our 7G.Copters with these systems (except for the Trainer_Copter).
We offer the most advanced glass cockpit/EFIS, it is robust and extremely lightweight in construction to allow for all the possibilities a gyroplane offers. A glass cockpit is an aircraft cockpit that features electronic (digital) instrument displays, typically large LCD screens, as opposed to the traditional style of analogue dials and gauges.
Where a traditional cockpit relies on numerous mechanical gauges to display information, a glass cockpit uses several displays driven by flight management systems that can be adjusted to display flight information as needed. This simplifies aircraft operation and navigation and allows pilots to focus only on the most pertinent information.
This is flight regulation equipment that meets the Instrument Flight Regulation (IFR). The IFR regulates flights under conditions in which flight by outside visual reference is not safe. Avionics by The 7 Group always has a focus on security; for the pilot, for the equipment and for the people on the ground. Therefore all 7G.Copters are equipped with an IFR instrument set to enable the operation of a 7G.Copter in unfavorable weather conditions, where other aircrafts are not able to take off.
All 7G.Copters are equipped with an attitude indicator (AI), this is globally unique to 7G.Copters, no other gyroplane is equipped with this (please note that the Trainer_Copter is also not equipped with this). An attitude indicator is an instrument that informs the pilot of the orientation of the aircraft relative to earth, and is the primary instrument for flight in instrument meteorological conditions. Attitude indicators also have significant application under visual flight rules. The AI enables the pilot to operate the 7G.Copter even in cloudy conditions. Flying through a cloud without artificial horizon will result in a “white out”, which is the loss of all orientation and results in a crash.
The 7 Group is the only company worldwide that equips their gyroplanes with an artificial horizon. The 7 Group is the best, so expect only superior equipment from us.
Only the best available rotor systems are used at the 7G.Copters. The rotor is made according to a special track and balance method, reducing noise and ensuring that the best possible quality of pictures can be taken by camera systems.
The 7G.Copter is a mission aircraft and as such has to communicate not only with air traffic control but also to mission control. To make this communication as smooth as possible, The 7 Group has developed a special radio system enabling the pilot and/or the observer to talk to both control centers. This means that others using the simple flight radio cannot hear what the crew is communicating with mission control. At The 7 Group, we push the limits, right? Of course this system is globally unique!
The 7 Group is the only provider in the market to offer gyroplanes equipped with day light as well as infra-red cameras and recording systems. Depending on the mission, all 7G.Copters are equipped with one DLC and one IR camera or two DLC’s. The 7 Group not only instructs your pilots on how to fly, we also instruct your ground crew on all the perks and possibilities associated with these camera systems.
Through the camera system and in combination with the additional silencer the gyroplane is transformed into a mission worthy craft where the mission only profits from the advantages of our new system. It enables completely new possibilities for observation, searching, law enforcement, traffic control and military purposes.
All IR camera systems are equipped with 9Hz FLIR systems with no export restrictions. Alternatively we can also supply FLIR systems up to 25 Hz, but for these systems export restrictions by the USA or the EU will apply.
So far the best available solution for observation (on borders) was a UAV like drone. But drones have only one eye, 7G.Copters with a pilot, an observer and two cameras have 6 eyes. You cannot really compare the fields of application for these very different aircrafts, in comparison to a drone system a gyroplane is at least 50% cheaper and much more flexible to use. There is a real human that flies it, not just an electronic circuit remotely controlled with the risk of failure!
Due to our experience at The 7 Group we know that in 98% of cases where an aircraft comes under fire, it is shot by rifles or small arms. This is why we protect the 7G.Copters with a special fabric (Kevlar®) against such attacks. The typical vertical range of these weapons is some 300 to 500 m / 985 to 1640 ft. To reduce the risk even further, we suggest that you use the gyroplane in higher altitudes (up to 4000m / 12000 ft), and to also make use of the on-board equipped camera system.
The best equipment is totally useless, if you cannot use it when you need it.
So, we not only equip our 7G.Copters with special and professional night vision goggles, but we also instruct the crew in night flight missions.

In case of an emergency help is needed as quickly as possible, so we equip our 7G.Copters with a 406 MHz Emergency locator transmitter, which is a distress radio beacon that transmits an emergency signal together with the location. The direction is found with an accuracy of max. 1.5 km / 0.93 m.
All 7G.Copters are equipped with superior technology to assure that the highest security standard and operational fitness in our aircraft is reached, but technology has its price in relation to weight. We do everything possible to reduce this weight and ensure that the gained extra kilogram is only with the best technology out there. To counter and reduce weight all 7G.Copters are handcrafted with carbon fiber instead of being manufactured with glass fiber. Carbon fiber helps to reduce the weight of the gyroplane by 7-12 kg / 15-26 lbs. Another advantage is that carbon fiber is more durable and ages at a much slower pace than glass fiber. The life span of a 7G.Copter is much longer than other gyroplanes, and it provides a more secure aircraft with the added benefits of its on-board technology. As always The 7 Group, are pushing the limits!
For extreme conditions (altitudes up to 5000 m / 16400 ft) or with increased payload we use specially developed turbo engines with 13% more power.
Flexibility within all possible missions is key especially for the Military_Copter. With this in mind we have developed a unique piece of equipment that allows the easy and secure bailing of a parachutist. Regardless of the mission the process should be as fast and easy as possible, ours is only 2 minutes to install or dismantle.
The survival kit is specially suited for missions directed towards land, water, desert, jungle and arctic areas … The survival kit contains not only dressing material, but it is a survival kit to ensure survival for at least 72 hours.
As with every aircraft, special tools are needed for maintaining a gyroplane. We also equip our 7G.Copters with all the necessary basic and specialist tools required for all minor repairs.

We have proven it. As long as the destination is planet Earth, we will deliver our gyroplanes. Either pre-built as a complete aircraft or delivered dismantled and assembled on site. In the latter case we reconstruct the gyroplane within 14 days.
A specially developed trailer enables one single person to load and securely transport the 7G.Copter on normal road. No special transport is needed.
For areas with lots of snow the wheels can be easily replaced by skis.
Multi functionality and usability are targets of The 7 Group. We have developed a system where you can apply special floats to the 7G.Copter and so use it as water gyroplane.
In operations involving searches such as a missing person or border observation the endurance of the aircraft is tactically important. For these circumstances we offer a long range tank system that allows a total of 7 flight hours or 1000 km / 621 miles. This tank system is mounted in less than 5 minutes and significantly upgrades the 7G.Copter.
These additional lights are very important for a safe landing when finishing a night mission and landing outside an illuminated landing strip or airport.
